MacBook Neo: First Look + New Apple Products (NYC Event Recap)
Apple invited me out to a private event in New York City to preview some of the newest products coming to the lineup. In this video, I’m giving you a quick recap of everything that stood out to me, including the new MacBook Neo, iPhone 17e, iPad Air with M4, MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max, the new 27-inch Studio Display XDR, and the MacBook Air with M5.
One of the most interesting moments for me was seeing two Studio Display XDRs and one Studio Display daisy-chained through a single Thunderbolt 5 cable. Back in my studio setup at the Lab, I usually have to jump through a bunch of workarounds just to get multiple displays running. Seeing this workflow in person honestly blew my mind.
The MacBook Neo, starting at $599, also caught my attention because it opens the door for more creatives to get started in the Apple ecosystem. And with the M5 MacBook Pro lineup and the new Studio Display XDR, it feels like Apple is continuing to push pro workflows forward.
