Apple may have just accidentally revealed its next big AirPods upgrade.
A demo video buried inside the macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate appears to show AirPods with cameras built into the stems. The cameras reportedly aren’t meant for photos or video, but to capture visual information and act as “eyes" for Apple’s AI.
Mark Gurman says the new AirPods could arrive as soon as September, potentially alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and Apple’s foldable iPhone.
Could this be Apple’s answer to Ray-Ban Meta, without the glasses?
