Apple has just released the new M3 series of chips for the new M3 Macbook Pros. As always they were incredibly ambiguous about the specs and suspiciously kept comparing the new chips to the 2-year-old M1 chips. After digging deeper I’ve figured out why. Apple has purposefully maimed the M3 Pro to push buyers to the M3 Max chip.
