Here’s how to Turn Off Apple Pencil Handwriting Correction on iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini in iPadOS 26.

Your handwriting is being auto-corrected in Apple Notes and the Freeform app, so you need to turn off these settings.
Open the drawing tools, tap the More options, and turn off the Auto-Refine Handwriting toggle and the Check Handwritten Spelling toggle.
To stop handwriting from converting into text, do not select the first pencil. Switch to a different pencil in the drawing tools, or turn off Scribble from the Apple Pencil settings. You can refer to my separate tutorial linked in the video description for that part.
