The M6 released, but the Pro and Max are far off

The Mac mini got the M6, but Apple also just launched an M5 Pro Mac mini, which tells me the M6 Pro and M6 Max are nowhere near ready. Could be months, maybe a year.

So if you need a great computer now and want a Pro or Max chip, go ahead and buy. But if you were eyeing the base M5 MacBook Pro, maybe wait, the M6 model is likely around the corner for October. The M6 Air probably isn’t coming until at least March, and both may be more expensive than today’s models. If you need a computer now, don’t be afraid to buy, this may be the cheapest these Macs ever are.
