DON’T upgrade your M1 Mac for gaming!

This is a video about why I think it’s a bad idea to upgrade your Mac for gaming and why you shouldn’t buy the M1 Max or M1 Ultra.

The main issue with Macs, especially Apple Silicon M1 computers, is that there aren’t that many macOS ports of games and you’ll be missing out on the majority of popular titles like Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Lost Ark etc. My advice is to just stick with the base models where possible – with the money you save on Apple upgrades, you could easily use to buy a Switch, PS5, Xbox, a gaming PC or even a Steam Deck! And you’ll have a much better gaming experience overall than trying to tangle with Mac compatibility.
