Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (Steam) running on CrossOver 20 on a MacBook Air 2020 512GB with 8GB RAM and 8 GPU cores. As you can tell I am pretty terrible at this game! Multiplayer benchmark score I received was: 1196.8, which according to the game allows you to competed in ranked multiplayer matches.

Full tutorial also written here on how to install on M1 Macs: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Age_of_Empires_II:_Definitive_Edition

Instructions taken from here:

I have included the ucrtbase.dll file to skip several steps:
https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2081-ucrtbasedll-extracted-from-microsoft-visual-c-2015-redistributable-update-3-rc/

1) Download above link to ucrtbase in the CrossOver Steam bottle under C:WindowsSystem32
2) Open Wine configuration Libraries tab
3) Set concrt140.dll and ucrtbase.dll to native
4) Ctrl click on Steam bottle and make sure Settings – DXVK Backend for D3D11 is enabled
5) Play Age of Empires II

Any M1 game test requests please leave a comment.
