Apple did it. They FINALLY did it. This is the most repairable MacBook since 2012. Whether this is the result of the EU cracking down, or Apple listening to criticism, it’s a massive W for the budget consumer. For $499 (with a student discount) you can get the most repairable, reliable, well-built budget laptop of 2026. Now let’s hope replacement parts on Apple’s Store don’t cost more than the laptop does.

– Still has soldered storage and RAM
– Display panel is still fused to the lid assembly
