So Apple actually confirmed theyre putting RCS on the iPhone! Here’s Why that matters 👇🏼
RCS stands for “Rich Communication Services” and is a standard that has been widely adopted over the ancient and flawed SMS texting format.
The benefits of having RCS on an iPhone will likely include being able to see read receipts, typing indicatiors, proper photo and video file transfers and more… even on NON Apple devices!
This will not change the current iMessage system but if you’re an Android device, texting an iPhone is about to be a lot better than before!
