Apple is about to sell you two devices that do almost the same job, at very different prices. The OLED iPad mini lands by the end of October. The foldable iPhone Ultra was announced on September 9th. Unfold the iPhone Fold and you’ve essentially got an iPad mini with a hinge… except it’s smaller, it has worse cameras, and it costs three times as much.

So which one do you actually need? And do you need either if there’s already a bigger iPad sat on your desk?
