The 27-inch iMac is MORE than just a monitor – here’s why! 🖥️
The first iMac that I spec’d up and bought with any real purpose was my 2015, 27-inch Intel iMac. For its time, it was a really well-spec’d Mac. It cost me a lot, but it served me well for over six years without complaint!
I stopped using it in May 2015 when I bought my first-ever Apple silicon Mac – an M1 Max MacBook Pro. But even though I hadn’t used it since that day, it never crossed my mind to sell it. I knew one day I’d do something with it!
Online, all I see is people talking about taking them apart, stripping out the insides and turning them into a full-blown second display. But I think that’s sacrilegious. I wanted to show it some love back in return for all its years of hard, loyal service
So, in this video I’m going to talk about my plans for my 27-inch Intel iMac and then chat through how I wiped it, did a clean install and let you know how the entire process went!
