Apple’s pushing Bluetooth a lot closer to spatial awareness, and the big idea here is Channel Sounding. Instead of the old rough guesswork from signal strength, apps can get an actual distance in meters, and in some cases combine that with camera help to figure out direction too. It opens up very practical stuff, especially when you’ve got a pile of similar accessories and need to know which one is actually yelling at you.
